<p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">Luke Guerin</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">                Narnia returns, and with it comes the third addition to Mark Johnson’s explosive blockbuster series “The Chronicles of Narnia”. Throughout the film “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” we find ourselves once again in the mythical world of Narnia, with the same antagonist, the White Witch, and the same heroic children. Even though some aspects of the storyline are reused, don’t expect that you’ll be watching “Prince Caspian” all over again. While the plot “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” draws parallels to its prequels, its superb storyline, polished visuals, and improved acting sets it above the rest of the series.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">   The first thing that stood out in my opinion was the breathtaking visuals. Sure most of Narnia is C.G.I., but that doesn’t mean you can’t be swept away by its sheer beauty. One thing I loved about the C.G.I. and filming in “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” was how it truly captured the massive size and openness of Narnia, whereas the other two films in the series lacked such a massive environment. What I really loved about the C.G.I., was how polished and crisp it looked, it led to a lot more of a believable world, there was no sloppy or unrealistic looking scenes to this film. However with all of the epic and majestic filming, Narnia is starting to look a lot more like “Lord of the Rings” or “The Golden Compass”, a different turn for the Narnia series.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">    The children of Narnia are all grown up in this third installment of the series, however this time they are accompanied by their annoying, and almost pathetic cousin Eustace. But the great part of Eustace’s character is his uncanny ability to be the most annoying person in the film, which offers room for the experiences and morals of Narnia to enter his character and create improvement. Aside from this brilliantly played role I feel as though the children of Narnia are too similar to their previous roles in the last films. The oldest brother is still the leader; the youngest boy is trying to prove his braveness, etc… it’s all too similar to the past films, sure they are adults now, but they are still playing the roles they did when they were kids.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">   From the breathtaking scenery to the intense battles and heart wrenching drama “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” was really an enjoyable film to watch. The short fall of this movie however was in its character originality, which makes characters seem almost too predictable when it comes down to their interpersonal decisions. In the end I give the movie a solid “See it” rating because after weighing the entire pros and cons, it truly is an amazing addition to one of my favorite series, and I hope everybody would experience this cinematic masterpiece for themselves.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">   </span><span style="font-weight: normal; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; background-color: transparent; text-decoration: underline;">My Final Opinion</span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-family: Times New Roman; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">: See it.</span></p>
